Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes – a tasty, crowd favorite sandwich made with ground beef, onions, tomato sauce/ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and other seasonings, and served on a hamburger bun. Perfect for parties, tailgates, game day or backyard barbecues. Easy, tasty and irresistible!
5-6 brioche hamburger buns or about 8 or more bread rolls
Instructions
Heat a large skillet or cast iron over medium high – then add ground beef to the pan, cook for about 3-5 minutes or until brown, breaking it up to prevent it from clumping.
Remove the beef from the pan – remove excess fat, especially if using regular ground beef. Use your best judgement.
Add the butter, onions, garlic , bell peppers and green onions – saute for about 1- 2 minutes.
Return minced beef into the pan, followed by ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, white pepper, paprika and creole seasoning. Cook for about 2 minutes.
In a small cup mix together the beef stock and cornstarch add to the beef mixture.
Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until some of the liquid has been reduced. Add salt and pepper mixture to taste.
